I met Jessica on-line about two years ago. I saw her Podcast “Husband-in-Law” and thought – man!!! These people are really doing it right.
They both grew up in the Mormon Religion where being gay is wrong. So when Steve came out after being married, they kept his identity behind closed doors. While he’s been out for awhile at this point, he still struggles with being vocal about his lifestyle. Jessica told him at one point, “When you feel like you can’t shout, I’ll do it for you.” You can see a more in-depth article that came out four days ago HERE.
They are successfully co-parenting their daughter and run a podcast together called Husband-in-Law. You can find them on Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram.

When I came across these AMAZING wings with my favorite wing vendor Homespun Heart, I knew I had to have them.
In my younger years, I had always had a deep love and compassion for the gay community. I saw the struggle that had been occurring for years. When I had a few best friends come out as gay by the time I was in my mid-20s, I’d decided to let go of some of the pre-conceived notions that was taught to me throughout my years growing up in a primarily mormon community. Since then, I’ve had several lesbians grace our studio – some married, some not – but all so beautiful and worthy to be loved, feel beautiful and be treated with respect.
So when I came across these AMAZING wings with my favorite wing vendor Homespun Heart, I knew I had to have them.
I also knew that Jessca Frew would be the world’s BEST model. Being an LGBTQ advocate herself, I knew she’d be able to communicate the love for the gay community.
We had so much fun designing the session – makeup, wardrobe, props – it came together seamlessly. Here are some of the results.
