If your session is for someone else and you happen to share bank accounts with that person, it can be quite the challenge to keep your boudoir session a surprise.
I have some tips and tricks to help you out.
Use Venmo or Paypal
Our studio accepts Venmo or Paypal – so you know all those random side jobs you’ve been doing or the furniture you’ve been selling? Keep the money you make in your Cash App(s) until you have enough to pay for your session and/or images. Spouses rarely notice or ask about the money you make from your side jobs or furniture selling.
Open a Credit Card in Only Your Name
If you’re anything like me, you get a crap-ton of credit card offers in the mail. Grab one of those and apply online – it only takes a few minutes and since your significant other won’t be on the card, the surprise is safe! You can find the credit cards with the most benefits HERE.
Pay with Cash
It’s probably gonna shock you when you realize how much cash is left around the house. And if it was left there, NO ONE will notice it being gone. So take your fair share, mama and keep your surprise!
Keep Your Boudoir Session a Surprise by Booking Your Session Far in Advance!
So think about scheduling your session in advance – because the main reason each of these options helps in keeping your session a surprise is because you’re slowly paying toward your photoshoot. When it’s one big lump sum, heads are gonna turn, but if you pay and/or save gradually none will be the wiser!
