Hi! I'm Cyndee Wanyonyi, the gal behind the camera. I'm passionate about seeing women love themselves a little more today than they did yesterday

Okay, so let’s talk about why we’re pretty adamant about not having any extra folks hanging out during your boudoir session. I’m going to let you know why we don’t allow anyone else in the studio with you during your session.

As a boudoir photographer, I’ve come across various pieces of advice shared among communities like Facebook Groups for Moms. One particular “red flag” caught my attention: the notion that if a boudoir photographer doesn’t allow anyone else in the studio during your session, it’s a sign to run. Well, I’m here to offer a different perspective.

We’ve had a few instances where someone has brought someone else for their session. While we’d “played it by ear” when it came to “friends” in our studio, we decided that after the last one, we’d make it an official rule. No one is allowed to be with you during your session.

There are quite a few reasons behind this policy, but here are just a few:

  1. Privacy is Key: Your boudoir shoot is all about you feeling comfortable and confident. Having extra people around can kinda mess with that vibe, y’know?
  2. Better Connection: We’re all about creating a chill atmosphere where you can let loose and be yourself. Cutting out the extra company helps us really connect with you and capture your true essence.
  3. Less Drama, More Fun: Let’s face it, even the most supportive pal can accidentally become a distraction. We wanna keep things drama-free and focused on you having a blast.
  4. It’s Your Time to Shine: This is your moment to shine, and we’re here to make sure you’re the star of the show. No distractions, no interruptions—just you, your confidence, and our camera.

While we understand it is not the intention of anyone who would come with you, we’ve often found that it can cause more of a distraction than anything else. And even the most positive and supportive person can make you feel insecure when you’re half-naked in front of my camera!

So – we ask that this day be reserved for you and you alone đź’ž. YOU ARE worthy of this experience just as much as the person before you and person after you and we want to focus all our energy on YOU and YOU ALONE!
